Naruto grows up a lot throughout the series becoming stronger in mind and body. His excellence is brilliantly shown in the final arcs. The Fourth Great Shinobi War arcs feature a number of powerful foes which were difficult to deal with. This was because Kabuto had used a reanimation Jutsu reviving great warriors who had been dead for ages. The Jutsu made them immortal so no matter how many times they were killed, they would come back. Here is a list of the top 10 strongest reanimated shinobi from Naruto.
1o. Kinkaku and Ginkaku
Starting off, we have the Gold and Silver brothers from The Hidden Cloud Village. Kinkaku and Ginkaku were a big problem to the allied Shinobi force. The moment they appeared, everyone went on high alert. These two were a major threat because they had parts of the Nine-Tails chakra. The story went that while fighting the Nine-Tails once, they were swallowed whole by him. They were in his belly for weeks where they survived by eating his flesh from the inside. This made them inherit his chakra. They also possess the legendary weapons of The Sage of Six Paths. We can see why Darui and his company had trouble dealing with these two.
9. Deidara
Deidara was killed in his own fashion, with an explosion that he created. He was put up against Kankuro and his company. Along with Deidara was Shin, Sai’s own brother who died in battle against in because of sickness. Deidara was troublesome to deal with. He used a member of Shino’s clan as a suicide bomber instantly injuring a member of Kankuro’s team. They had to restrain him using puppets and passing electricity through him to keep him from exploding again. As usual, Deidara was an irritating problem.
7. Asuma Sarutobi
No one could forget the first major death in Naruto Shippuden. Asuma reappeared in front of the former team seven after handing his Mirai to them. Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji could not possibly attack their own sensei. Kabuto had played this evil trick knowing that personal ties of the shinobi would hinder their resolve. In spite of it all, Ino-Shika-Cho persevered. Choji had a lot of trouble overcoming his respect and love for Asuma. But in the end, he activated his strongest form and defeated him quickly. As Asuma said while being sealed, the Ino-Shika-Cho formation was complete.
6. Zabuza and Haku
At number 6 we have Naruto’s first foes, Zabuza and Haku. Zabuza hated the idea of being reanimated and used against his wills for goals that aren’t his own. Thankfully, they were put up against Kakashi and Guy. Naruto was being kept away at a hidden island so that he didn’t fall into the enemy’s hands. Sasuke was nowhere to be found and Sakura was tending to her duties as a medical ninja. This left on Kakashi from the original battle to take on Zabuza and Haku. He has a heart to heart while exchanging blows with them. He talks about Naruto and his growth and Haku and Zabuza seem glad that the boy has grown so much. In the end, they get defeated by Kakashi. He lifts Zabuza’s Long Blade and slashes through the rest of the enemies. Also Read: Top Ten Naruto Fights Not Featuring Naruto
5. Minato
At number 5 we have Minato, the Fourth Hokage. To counter Kabuto’s Jutsu and to get some answers about Hidden Leaf’s history. Orochimaru alongside Sasuke and his band of misfits went to the Uchiha shrine. He reanimated the past four Hokages, one of whom was Minato. Minato was on the side of the good guys. We see him make a heroic entry diverting a massive Beast Bomb from the Ten-Tails. He works hand in hand with his son even activating Kurama Chakra Mode. The chemistry between Naruto and Minato was a sight to behold. His departure left Naruto and all of us with tears in our eyes.
4. Itachi
At number 4, we have Itachi Uchiha gracing our list. Itachi is a fan-favorite character from the show. He died after battling Sasuke because of a mysterious illness. The only one capable of undoing Kabuto’s Jutsu was Itachi. He does so by using the Izanami on Kabuto and trapping him in an infinite loop. Because of his support, the Allied Shinobi Forces were able to get an upper hand.
3. Tobirama
Getting closer to our number one, we have Tobirama Senju at number three. Tobirama shook Sasuke and Orochimaru’s nerve by merely lifting a finger when they reanimated him. He is a hothead and capable of doing a great deal of damage to anyone. His presence alone is enough to shake up the Earth. He created the Flying Raijin and Shadow Clone Jutsu. So when Naruto and Minato use these we can see Tobirama glare and smirk at them. He quickly adjusts to the new situation and enemies. He was the only one apart from Naruto to figure out that Sage Jutsu is Six Paths’ Obito and Madara’s weakness. Also Read: All Hokage Ranked By Strength
2. Hashirama Senju
Little needs to be said about Hashirama. The legendary man is considered a god among shinobi. Hashirama was so strong he could level entire armies by himself. As a reanimated Shinobi, he greatly helped out the allied Shinobi forces by dealing with the ten tails and then continuing his age-long battle with Madara. The two went all out against each other unleashing God-level Jutsu and devastating the entire battlefield. It was truly a battle of the legends.
1. Madara Uchiha
And finally, at number 1 we have Madara Uchiha. The man who set the whole plan in motion before dying ages ago. Madara is on the top of this list because of the way he dealt with every problem thrown his way. He first appeared and leveled a whole battalion by himself. Going forward he acquired the Rinnegan and brought himself back to life. As if that wasn’t enough, he went on to acquire the Six Paths Power nearly killing Might Guy and many others. Truly a legendary villain from all of anime. Madara deserves the respect he gets. And these were the top ten reanimated shinobi from Naruto Shippuden. Do you agree with this list?
