For the past three years since it was brought to the discussion at E3 2018 Conference, we had no idea how Starfield will play out. What is the idea behind it? Plus how it will compensate for the Studios downright amazing games such as The Elder Scrolls series and Fallout series. But that was until then, but now an official teaser has been revealed along with a release date. That too in 2021, which questions if the studios are adamant on their decisions for the game and where it leads us. Let’s break down every detail about Starfield we know of yet.
Starfield Release Date
Starfield is releasing on November 11, 2022. All thanks to the announcement at the E3 that revealed the official trailer and release date altogether. Thus giving us a glimpse of how the video-game set in space look like. The game will be exclusively available to play on Xbox Series X/S and PC. Thanks to the Microsoft deal. The game will be a part of the Xbox Game Pass on day one. It has also been teased that Starfield can be played through Cloud. So with the Xbox pass in the hand, you can easily stream your game. Starfield was always a talk of the town ever since t Bethesda’s E3 2018 conference. The creators have teased it to be way different than the Elder Scrolls 6. Plus despite the changing landscape of gaming, the creators have stated Starfield will be a next-generation role-playing game. Thus also calling it the studios’ first new universe in 20 years.
Starfield – What Is The Game About?
The first official teaser of Starfield showcases a cinematic glimpse of the game. We see an astronaut climbing the big spaceship and teasing us about the exploration we are about to witness. We see an alien planet, the motive to explore the vastness of space measured by humans. Lastly the suits and spaceship taking us back in time to classic space visits of humans. Thus some of the technology showcased in the trailer is more of a throwback. Then there is some taking us into the future. The trailer ends with the main character sitting aboard his next mission as it shows off the release date for the game. Now the question remains for a game under development for years and announced in 2018, how will it adapt to the new environment of gameplaying around the world. So far the trailer or creators haven’t revealed much about the gameplay of Starfield. Apart from the fact that it is teased to be a next-generation, single-player epic. Furthermore, with Bethesda Softworks under Microsoft, the game is more Xbox exclusive. Unlike the older games, we hope it doesn’t struggle with the lack of Sony’s Playstations’ absence.
The Creators On Starfield
Game director Todd Howard has talked a lot about Starfield. He has teased the game to be about a group called Constellation. They are the final living space explorers in the game. Furthermore, as said above about role-playing, Todd Howard teases the game will allow the players to choose a number of things. You can pick who you want to be. You can pick the mission you want to go on. Plus create a story you want from the ones they have craved and added to the game. Thus giving you unparallel freedom to customize the game to your will. Apart from the gameplay, Todd Howard also referred to the message this new gaming universe shares to the world. Howard states Starfield is more about hope, humanity, and a search for life’s greatest mysteries. Apart from all of that, the question remains how the creators plan to execute this single-player gaming universe in a world where multi-player thrives now. Yes, the creators have stated it’s a full-fledge single-player game and no plans for multiplayer in the future either. Plus the PlayStation omission is another thing to take note of.
