The series Navillera is going to star Park In-hwan as (Shim Deok-chu) l, Song Kang as (Lee Chae-rok), Na Moon-hee as (Choi Hae-Nam), and Hong Seung-hee as (Shim Eun-ho). They are going to be the lead characters of the series, followed up by the supporting characters. The lead is looking promising, and may it will have a better screen representation too. The other supporting cast consists of Shin Eun-Jung as (Kim Ae-ran), Jung Hae-Kyun as (Shim Sung-san), Kim Soo-jin as (Shim Sung-suk), Jo Sung-ha as (Lee Moo-young), Yoon Ji-Hye as (Eun So-ri), Kim Tae-hoon as( Ki Seung-Joo), Jeong Hee-Tae as (Young-il), Jo Bok-Rae as (Shim Sung-gwan), Kim Hyun-Mok as(Kim Se-jong), Kim Kwon as (Yang Ho-beom) and Lee So-yeong as (Yoo An-na). Navillera Release Date
Navillera is a South Korean drama that is going to be released in the year 2021. It is directed by Han Dong Hwa, and the screenwriter is Lee Eun Mi. The drama will be on air on TVN and also be debuting on Netflix. The release date is 22nd march and will go off air on 21 April. It is one of the most awaited k dramas of the year. Navillera in English is translated as like a butterfly. The drama is based on the webtoon “Like a Butterfly” written by Hun and is illustrated by Ji-min between the years 2016 and 2017. The genre will be basically around friendship, life, and family. About Viki and Viu, there is no such surety of availability of the drama. It would be cleared once the drama gets on the air. The drama probably will have some neutral rating, in my opinion, neither over the top nor below the level. The plot seems to be typical and simple as a boy pursuing something of his dream and how he overcomes the obstacles. The drama is going to have a total of 12 episodes. The drama is short and crispy. The duration of the episodes would be around 60 min this can be clear once release on TVN and Netflix. You can keep your hopes a bit high from the drama as the trailer seems to be pleasing. Overall the in-depth review will be shared once the drama gets a green signal and release on air.
Expected Plot
The drama seems to move around the life of two people who have a desire to learn. The common thing between them is they are bound with their life problems which make them rethink their decisions. Deok-Chool, a 70-year-old retired post officer, has a dream of performing ballet from the initial days of his life. Life takes some difficult turns, and he has to leave his dreams behind and have to work. Attending his friend’s funeral, he realizes how important it is to fulfill the inner desires of life. This led him to rethink his decision and take a fresh decision. He enrolls himself into a company that teaches ballet.
Plot Continuation
His wife and adult kids were totally against the idea of tier father pursuing his dreams and learning ballet. At the same point life of Chae Rok is portrayed, how his life is a mess. He is a 23-year-old boy who has tried his hands on many sports activities to majorly pursue them but is not able to. Chae Rok doesn’t excel in any of the sports he tried his hands on. He went for basketball, swimming, baseball, and soccer and yet not found a sport that completely suited him and he can flourish in. he finally thinks of enrolling himself in ballet. His mother was a ballerina who dies due to some disease at a young age. Chae Rok is having a completely shattered family where his father went bankrupt after his wife’s death. After choosing ballet and enrolling in it, Chae Rok has zero connections left with his dad. The period turns out to be tough on the boy financially. He has to see up for his living and his expenses for learning ballet. The pressure of work and life makes the desire for ballet fade away at some point. Both the lead cast will meet each other at Ballet Company, where Deok-Chool will be motivating Chae Rook to follow up his passion if he doesn’t want to regret it. I think there will be a rough plot and an emotional drama at some point. There can be seen some love angles if possible, which is not a total surety. A bond between two men desiring to fulfill their dreams can be surely witnessed through the drama. Overall the plot looks like a complete roller coaster of pursuing a dream in a tough time when there is no family or financial support. The only support that can be a witness is the moral support both the leads will be seen giving each other.
The South Korean series Navillera seems to be quite a nice drama. This will be something new in the typical genre. It surely has an emotional vibe to it which can be seen through the trailer, so get ready to use tissue now and then. Overall the drama seems to be wholesome at some or another point. Also, it looks like it is going to be a motivating drama. The plot seems to build well. The webtoon is good but adapting to drama brings out many changes which are to be witnessed through the journey. The cast looks great. The screenplay is also looking wholesome. The dramas can turn onto a complete roller coaster of ups and downs and some much-unexpected journey. Maybe there can be a romantic angle, too, which isn’t sure. The drama would be more focusing on the friendship of the 70-year-old Deok-Chool and Chae Rook up till now. The drama is giving some great vibes if you are someone who wants to have something different yet refreshing to be added to your watch list. You can surely go for this drama and set your timers. There are some high hopes from my side as it seems to be different, so I have some keen eyes on the drama.
