The drama Kamisama no Karute is an ongoing Japanese drama. The drama revolves around the main lead Ichito Kurihara (Sota Fukushi). He is a physician at a small hospital in Nagano Prefecture. He has been working in the hospital for quite a good time. The hospital lacks the staff count and also doesn’t have enough good doctors. This lead to Ichito Kurihara facing difficulties in his life related to the medical field. He is not able to grow in the hospital much. He is always busy with the patients. Sometimes he is not able to sleep for 3 days straight due to the workload and pressure. The job was surely hectic for him. His wife Haru is a great support to him. She always stands for him in every possible way. Haru is the main reason why Ichito can work and focus. One good day he receives a letter from the university hospital from where he got the degree. The letter gives him an opportunity. It is a job letter for him as he gets an opportunity for a position in the University Hospital. This is a golden chance for him. Episode 2 Overview

The complete series is set in a hospital where there are fewer numbers of the patient. The thing which is more concerning is the staff of the hospital which was very less. There are very few doctors and services available. The drama is set in a small hospital in Nagano Prefecture. The drama revolves around the lives of doctors and their daily hectic life schedules. Episode 2 starts with a child getting an injection from Ichito Kurihara and crying out loud. He cries near the ear of Ichito Kurihara and he tries to shut his ear. They leave the room and another middle-aged man arrives in the room. He starts telling his problem. Ichito Kurihara is quite tired and still examines him. Then the scene changes where he is disusing about the health of the patients in the hospital. While they are talking they see an old couple of patients admitted to the hospital. The man is walking the woman in the wheelchair and they are spending some quality time. He sees the couple and feels happy to see them. The man and the woman share such a special bond that will make everyone fall in love. The series goes forward and we can see there is a long conversation that goes between Ichito Kurihara and Shindo Tatsuya who is a surgeon over a girl. He talks about Kurihara Haruna who is wife of Ichito Kurihara. They both have a long time conversation going on. The series was going slow and steadily where Ichito Kurihara receives the letter too and he consults to everyone. Everyone in the hospital is a bit skeptical if Ichito Kurihara will leave the hospital or will stay there. The patients also adore Ichito Kurihara and don’t want him to leave. A similar feeling is from his side. He wants to join the new hospital but he still wants to treat the patients. The time is hard on everyone it turns harder when the old couple who are roaming in the hospital the wife turns to be sicker after that time and was on her last few breaths. The doctors assure the old man they will work hard to save his wife but in the end, she dies. The moment is quite heartbreaking as he is unable to digest the words. He sings a song for his wife holding her hand and the next day he too dies and everyone was shaken. The bad news doesn’t end here. Ichito Kurihara meets Ogura Ichiro and his wife the next day. He is the owner/ or the director of the hospital. Ogura Ichiro and Ichito Kurihara share a special bond. They exchange some words and their wives meet too. The doctor passed out due to the cardiac arrest and at that moment the cardiologist tells them that he has only some days left in his hand. Listening to this everyone goes into shock. Seeing the health going downfall everyone is emotional and don’t know what to do. They all prepare a special moment for him where they make him see the night sky full of stars. It was special for him and he cannot resist his emotions coming out. The next day he passes away. This is going on here where else a man comes and asks them to pull down the hospital. The owner passes away but this matter was settled by Itagaki Genzo who is the director of the hospital. The last moment takes place and it ends with Itagaki Genzo crying over losing his friend. He cries out loud which makes everyone emotional. The drama is quite ok not over the top it will turn boring at some other point but the essence is great. The plot is nice; the suspense of choosing the other job is still there. Overall the drama is a roller coaster ride for Ichito Kurihara and how his life takes turns and at the end what is his decision.
